I think you mean implemented...

If I may, I find that most of the people who necropost for good reason tend to be New Scratchers, usually educators who used the "search" function properly and would like to thank people for the good advice they found.

I'm not sure how this would be implemented anyhow, but I think it's kind of nitpicky. Personally I've only seen this happen once or twice, and the thread was then flooded with "DON'T POST ON OLD THINGS, GOSH" posts anyway, so I'd think they learned their lesson

Interesting, coolstuff. However, I disagree. I personally believe that thanking people that have a significant chance of not even still being on Scratch, and have an even greater chance of never viewing the thread again, doesn't merit clogging up many other people's viewing of the forums.

I've seen this happen many times. Which forums do you frequent? This doesn't apply to Miscellaneous or FAQs, and maybe even Announcements (I'm not sure), that automatically close threads after a certain period of time. Furthermore, I don't think New Scratchers should be "taught their lesson" by mass scolding. This approach prevents that.

Or, we could use the Misc. policy on the other forums. All posts 2 weeks or older will be automatically closed.
I think that's quite a bit too strict for smaller forums like these

I find it hilarious that New Scratchers are supporting, even though they could stop the problem by checking the dates.

Maybe they just agree that most necroposts are by New Scratchers, even if they are one themselves.

Good point.
Remember, some New Scratchers are test accounts, etc.

No, it's like that on Miscellaneous only.
I SUPPORT, btw.
