Scratch project SUPER SLOW on Macs

I built and uploaded my first Scratch project on a pretty nice XP-based PC.  Aside from a few glitches (like the yellow lines not wrapping on the scratch site like they do in the scratch project builder), things looked pretty good.

When I look at my project on a Mac via the scratch website, it is unbelievably slow.  Like 10 times slower!  Is there something I've done wrong?  I looked at some of the other projects on the site, and they don't seem so slow.

Thanks for any help.

Maybe java was set up differently somehow?  It would be interesting to try downloading it on the mac and seeing if that makes a difference.

When did you get your mac? Because I use it on my MacBook Air and it works just fine.
