Firstly, if this post is in the wrong place, move it
So, I know most of the Scratch community are little kids, but do copyright rules apply here, or can everyone just use anything they get of the internet
Just saying, because I saw a lot of * projects use * compressed copyrighted (best alliteration ever) images on their projects
Is that allowed?
Not saying I'm going to do it; it's for little kids who can't make their own stuff because all they can draw is stickment... badly...
Oh and by the way: am I being to cruel, or can I keep it like that?

Firstly, this belongs here.
But anyway, over 90% of the time it will be legal to use things which would normally be illegal to use, because as Scratch is an educational site, it'll probably be classed as fair use, as long as you give credit to the owner of the copyright somewhere. This could be in the project notes, for example. If you're still worried, then you could just find things that are royalty free. This means that as long as you give credit somewhere, it's 100% legal to use it in whatever way you want! I'd say the best royalty free music website is Audionautix; it has over a hundred songs, all free to download, and all royalty free!
I hope this helped!

Hi RX12 - as mentioned by RedRocker227, we feel that the concept of Fair Use of copyrighted materials applies, since this is an educational site. We occasionally get requests from copyright holders to take down their copyrighted material from our site. If the request is a properly-formed DCMA takedown request from the copyright holder, we will do so.

And, yes, your tone seems rather disrespectful and cruel. Please try to keep your remarks polite and constructive.
