I can't post a new topic in the FAQ bin, but I really need the answer to a question that isn't in there...
My question is, why doesn't my browser crash when I click the link leading to someone's project, but that FAQ thing is fairly annoying as well.

Only admins/mods can post in FAQ. You could post your question in All About Scratch or Troubleshooting, and sometimes they move topics that are useful into FAQ.
