How do you create a Minecraft Hamachi Server?

Ive got Hamachi, made my network, but how do I get me and my friend on the actual server?

Plus, how would I fit a custom map with all this?

Set the IP in the server's config file and set it to your hamachi IP, they need to join your network for it to work.

No. Don't change the server-ip line in the config. That is an almost guaranteed way to get a "Can't bind to port!" error when you start the server up.

As long as there isn't a web filter on your computer, the server should work right out of the box (or download  tongue ). All you really need to do is change the port (server-port in server.properties), but that is optional. However, like MCR said, they do need to join the Hamachi network.

To connect, you use "localhost:<port>", and your friend uses your Hamachi IP.

As for a world map, just replace the world folder (saves\<world name>) with the one of the custom map.

The port is in the server config, just put :<port> at the end of the hamachi IP when you join.
