Re: when to bump

I noticed one person who bumped their topic over 25 times in a row yesterday  http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/4365/58529434.png

Also, after you bump and someone else posts, DELETE THE BUMP! It gets rid of spam.

I don't think this is entirely necessarily.

Not if you bump a bump after someone posts. Read what I said again.

EDIT: Here, I'll show you.

Post 1: Hey, I just made a topic! View it NAO!
Post 2: Why is nobody viewing this? BUMP! BUMP! BUMP!
Post 3: Still? Please reply to this topic!

Now, after posting Post 3, you would delete Post 2 to reduce spam. The topic would go up, not down.

Re: when to bump

Also, Miscellaneous is a dump. Don't expect anything you say to be the topic of conversation for more than a day.

Oh yeah, it would be better if conversations here lasted more than a day. There are so many pointless topics. It would be great if they had a cleanup and moved useless topics to a separate forum. It would be great if they kept the forums up to date and clean.

I know how deleting a bump after somebody posts works.  roll

Re: when to bump

Yes, bumping is getting out of hand... maybe we could make it so you can only bump once every 10 minutes or something to keep it together, as this is insane. I have seen people bumping the TOP topic.
