I can't seem to be able to get the hang of it, but you could try using either GIMP or PAINT.net. They're both completely free, and I've heard that once you pick it up then you can make pretty much anything you want! smile

I get all of my logos (*ahem* Signature) from CoolText.com. They are awesome.

Some people use programs like GIMP, or even use CoolText.com.
Or maybe even goes into the requests forum and makes a topic.
Me, well once I make a project I might make my own "logos",
just to feel original. :')

FlamingText is another site like CoolText!

I use GIMP for my logos. It takes a while to get the hang of, though.
