Before you read any further, if you don't know what MS-DOS is, ask your parents. They may know. So, I was making a batch file a few months ago, and when I was finished, I went to show my mom what I made. It was nothing much. Just a Choose your own adventure. She said that it looked familiar, but I was kind of confused. She said that in high school (I think it was) She had to make a computer program in DOS. I'd remember hearing about DOS at some point, but never thought to look into it. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to program in it. I found a website, that teaches how to open MS-DOS in modern computers, so I'm going to check it out. You can find the website HERE! Although, this doesn't seem to be the TRUE MS-DOS.
If anyone knows of anything I can try out in MS-DOS, let me know. PLEASE, NOTHING THAT WILL LIKE SHUTDOWN MY COMPUTER FOREVER OR ANYTHING!!
Also, just discuss MS-DOS. Anyone going to try it out?
