Scratch

Hey everyone, JJROCKER here    Do you remember the original New Scratchers Inc? If you don't it can be found here. If you don't know or don't remember, it was a group that helped New scratchers and scratchers become better at the program and the website.

The original group slowly stopped but it was very good and helped many scratchers. I recently got permission from undefeatedgames, who was the original owner, to have ownership over New Scratchers Inc. Because this group is not the original group, the new group name will be, "New Scratchers Inc: Back in Action!"

Before I even start explaining what we will do, I would like to say that I will try to do my best to collaborate with other Scratch groups so we can make this as best as possible    There are still many out there that are willing to help other Scratchers so I'll talk with them and see if they can help. I'll tell you about one shortly.

With this collab, we will work together to educate each other, help beginners and other scratchers that need help, have fun meetups and work together to create weekly challenges. This is basically the main collab, where you can pretty much do anything.

We will have different groups to categorize people. Admins, Mods, Staff and Scratchers.

Right now, I will be the ONLY admin for this group. Maybe we will have promotions as we go along but right now, I will be the only one. My job is basically to have everything under control and plan things out. As for mods, we can't have everyone applying for a mod because then this group would not work. If you are willing to be a mod, say so below and say why you think you would make a good mod. A mods job is basically to patrol everything, help out all over and warn me about any problems. They also help create the challenges and have more power than staff. Staff can be a little more open but still, we don't need everyone applying for staff. Without people to help, this would not be a very good group. Staff helps answer questions from Scratchers and may help guide them through a question. Now for main Scratchers, anyone can be one. They are basically the people we try to help most. Scratchers can be ANY scratchers at all. Finally, if you would like to be any one of these, you need to say so below first! I have the ability to turn you down or make you go down ranks. Wow, this was a lot of writing!

I noticed some problems the last time this group was here. One problem was only a certain amount of people could be Scratchers so many people did not get helped or were put on a waiting list. That won't happen here    If you want to be helped, you will be helped. You just need to sign up below. Also, only Scratchers were able to ask questions. Not in this one! Here, even if you are a mod or a staff member, you can still ask any questions! A scratcher could even help a mod if they wanted to!

We will also be joining together with my other group, ScratcHelps To make projects and tutorials to help with questions that may be difficult to answer by text.

Now, time to really get into it. Here are some of the activities you can do-

Weekly Challenges- Every week, we will have two challenges. A small one and a large one. They will deal with making projects. You can do both, the hard one, the easy one or even none. We will display the projects here. Anyone can work together for them and get help by asking questions. You can find the current weekly challenges here.

Monthly Competitions-  Every month, we will have a project making competition where you work alone and compete against other people in the group. This is only optional and just for fun but winners will recieve a prize! For the monthly competition, go here.

Monthly Collabs- For fun, we will partner everyone up in groups and try to have one mod, 3 staff members per group and have a big giant collab to make a really awesome project. All info about them can be found here: Link coming soon.

Random Question Meetups- Every once in a while, I will give everyone the dates and times and we will meet up on the FAQ and ask tons of questions and get tons of answers    It will be fun. Here's the FAQ link: Here's the link for info: Both links coming soon!
