Hi tomgalazyzoo -
Your pictures would have to be uploaded to a web server somewhere and then you would put the URL to the pictures between the img tags. There are free web servers around that you could use, like imageshack. Another approach would be to put the images into a Scratch project and then share the project. Good luck, I'm looking forward to seeing your trains and buildings!
By the way...the Show and Tell forum is intended for advertising your Scratch projects or Galleries. If you have something you want to share that isn't about Scratch, probably you should use the Inspiration and More forum. I'll just move this topic over there for you.

It's impossible to get an image to show in a forum post any other way.
I'd recommend using Freeimagehosting to host an image. You can make an account if you want to be able to get the image URL again. You can also upload an image without having an account, but it only gives you the URL once. Once you upload it, you'll see some text boxes. Go to the one that says "To insert this image in a forum post, copy and paste the following code:" and copy the code underneath it. Paste it into your forum post but remove these tags from it:
[url=http://www.freeimagehosting.net/]
and
[/url]

Well, then why not put them into a Scratch project as Backgrounds or costumes for a sprite? All you have to do is drag the image file over and drop it onto Scratch and it should automatically import it. That doesn't work with all image file formats...but it works with a lot of them and it's worth a try. If you need a sample Slideshow project, I've got an entire gallery of them:
