I need ideas for a short story.
I have to write a short story for school. I can write it just fine. But I need a plot line and I can't think of one?
Ideas?

Oh, I see your earlier reply to Andres. 
So not very long, then? Well, I think Andres' idea could work. Maybe he was turned like that by a wizard or something? But then you'd have to explore his limitations, being paper and all, and also then resolve the matter (even if you didn't, it would still probably take too long exploring his limitations as a paper man. That's the sort of thing you'd do over the course of a longer story).

Although, I suppose it is do-able. I mean, you could start the story immediately with him in peril, immediately establishing his weaknesses. Maybe he's being chased by fire people, and then later he runs into some evil water people and he manages to escape while causing the two groups to fight each other.

Maybe there's this guy who is just all normal then this guy comes and says 'hey dude, you're a wizard' and he goes off to a magical school called warthogs and has to fight the evil lord voldepoop.

I recently got the idea, but haven't started the story, of a person who finds out all her friends are going to die soon and she knows how, so she tries to stop their deaths.
