What do the Scratch website and forums look like to a moderator?
I'm kinda curious!

I'd imagine it'd be the same, apart from there'd be a delete/edit button next to every post.
Oh, and there's also some special mod forum which only mods can see and post in.

If you want to see the forums, just install FluxBB on a web server and create an account and set it as a moderator. I believe the main site is the same for mods but not ST, but correct me if I'm wrong. You could install ScratchR on a web server to have a look at it.

But they can sticky and do other special things.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. There'd probably be more buttons next to the report, delete, edit and quote buttons like 'Sticky' and 'Move to another forum' etc.

They also can edit any post.
The Church of the IP denies this doctrine.

They look very similar to this.
(This is a demo forum - sign in with the username moderator and the password moderator.
There is usually some spam to delete and users to ban, too!

I do believe they have access to a moderator specific forum that is used to discuss issues and reports and all that good stuff.

Correct.

Given that the fate of other users is often discussed in the Moderator forum, it is natural that only those very mature can moderate properly.

ST is different. I saw karenb's account. I almost accidentally made myself a curator! XD

I was the moderator (I made the sig that said: I AM A MODERATOR. FEARZ ME!)
Then I was the admin, but I didn't ban you I think that was the REAL admin who said that.
