Yea, get AVG. I use AVG Free, Malwarebytes, and my commonsense. A trio of free things that have never failed me.
Getting a Mac isn't the best way to fix a Windows problem, people. Macs get viruses too.
I used to have AVG Free.
I don't think the virus is major because it has done nothing to my computer and the internet is working really fast.

Yes
I was downloading a game for my R4 card on DS off a site a friend recommended to me, and it took like, 4 hours to get rid of it

It's doing all the preloads now. Then I will probably have to do a full scan again to make sure it's all off.

I mainly scan with Advanced SystemCare and SuperAntiSpyware. Norton and IObit Malware Fighter just sits there, ignored... not really, Norton pops up occasionally and I have to disable IObit Malware Fighter to avoid issues that it has with an online game.

I don't know why you keep telling people to use Macs... I think PCs are more user-friendly, GIMP and some other free programs are only compatible with PCs and work better with others, and are less expensive. C:
Erm.
GIMP works on Macs...

So I had to scan my computer for 4 hours and guess what, out of the 3,000,000 items it scanned, it found one virus It was so minor and I just cleaned out my computer and restarted it and now it's completely fine
There were three files yesterday but the program deleted them right away.
Thanks everyone for your support!

Pay no attention to the files that are already on the computer.

Personally, I love apple products but hate Apple, so I am still reluctant to buy a mac. Apple not releasing an SDK for Windows is a reason to buy a mac, but it also is an irritation that makes me dislike Apple.
I'm assuming you use MacinCrash, right?
