Actually, this story is from the Irish Independent, an Irish broadsheet newspaper. I do not watch Fox news; I do watch TV3, BBC and RTE, but you probably have never heard of TV3 or RTE.

First you have to believe in the big bang theory (which I don't) for this even to be possible.
Second. We do the math.
Chances of big bang creating intelligent life:
1 - 3,050,852,000^1,000,000,000 (number was huge)
Next. Chances of that life finding us.
1 - 4,200,693^1,000,000,000
Just think about those odds. I got this from reliable sources.
