No, it's not the kind with packages. The other kind.

Shipping, derived from the word relationship, is the belief that two fictional characters, typically from the same series, are in an intimate relationship, or have romantic feelings that could potentially lead to a relationship. It is considered a general term for fans' emotional involvement with the ongoing development of romance in a work of fiction. Though technically applicable to any such involvement, it refers chiefly to various related social dynamics observable on the Internet, and is seldom used outside of that context.
Shipping can involve virtually any kind of relationship — from the well-known and established, to the ambiguous or those undergoing development, and even to the highly improbable and the blatantly impossible. People involved in shipping (called shippers) variously assert that the relationship does exist, will exist, or simply that they would like it to exist.
Talk about your favorite shippings!
My favorite shipping is Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle, of My Little Pony fame.

I don't think MLP lends itself well to shippings, but that's just my opinion.
I'm not really into shippings except canon shippings in things like Harry Potter.

You mean like if someone is shipping they are having a relationship with someone?

I don't think they're LGBT.
'cept maybe Fluttershy is bisexual. But she reminds me of someone I know.

That's what every single shipper for any shipping in any fandom says.

I like twilight and trixie, I don't read that much seeming the only proper free time I have is when I'm getting to sleep, so I have it read to me via someone on Youtube. MLP has taken over most of my life, seeming the fanbase is huge so there's always something to do, unlike everything else I used to do which got old after there was nothing to do.

Some ships aren't canon. Some people have different opinions, and therefore, ship different things. Some people like shipping and some people don't. To conclude, shipping wars are stupid.
Anyway, I really like shipping ok.
Major OTP right now is cottoncandy (JanexLalonde).
I also ship a ton of other things but I'm too lazy to stuff all my ships from all my fandoms in this post. c:
Also I understand troll romance pretty well

No, not quite. Shipping is supporting a relationship between two (or more) characters from one (or more) fictional universes. Some commonly known ones are PokéShipping (Ash and Misty from Pokémon), Kirk/Spock (from Star Trek), and Harry/Hermione (from Harry Potter). Although the examples I listed are completely in the fandom, there are also shippings that are canon, such as Ron/Hermione from Harry Potter.
