Hey buddies, i am here to teach u about the basics of scratch.
Ok so lets start with backgrounds, to make a background click on the stage in at the bottom were the sprites are and then click on backgrounds at the top. It should say then new background: paint, import, camera. If u want to paint a background, press paint and obviously start drawing whatever. If u want to put in a background from one of your files, click import.
If u make more than one background and u want to start the project off on a certain background do the following
<when green flag clicked>
<switch to costume[
and then u will start the project off with a certain background. There are many ways u can change backgrounds from one to the other. One way u can do this is by
<when[ ]key pressed>
<next costume>
and that should switch to the next costume, or if u want the background on for a certain time do this
<when green flag clicked>
<switch to costume[
<wait( )secsc>
<next costume>
This is literally the same for sprites, any questions just ask me and i know this sounds very confusing but it is hard to explain. This was meant for my friend but any of u guys who are new can use this.

Great job! I suppose it could be a little more detailed and about something harder, but that's my opinion.

Oh right sorry, i normally do that i forgot XD. and the reason why it is so basic is that my friends joined scratch yesterday and needs help with backgrounds before getting more advanced
