True... and what I've noticed is that it's always the smarter, less chavvy kids that get picked on here. :c Shame really, specially when the smarter 'nerds' stop trying at school just in order to fit in. :sSort of what I do. I pretend to be dumber than I actually am just so I don't get called a nerd or a dork etc. :c I used to get called that by almost the whole class >.>
That is so, so mean!
You know what I do with bullies?
Give them the Look.
It's a You're-not-cool-and-you're-really-weird-and-you-better-watch-your-back-because-something-bad-is-gonna-happen-to-you-soon.

Often times they don't notice, but when they do, they shut up.
I'm kind of skinny, so sometimes people kinda pick on me. It doesn't bother me, though.
Stupid person: Why are you so skinny?
Me: At least I'm not fat *Looks at person talking to me like they are fat*
Stupid person: But-but-you're so skinny!
Me: When I get older, I be much more fit than you. It's because I don't eat Burger King and McDonald's like you. It's mostly because I eat healthy food. Did you know healthy food keeps you thin?
Stupid person: ...
Me: c:
I know you said that you act dumber to not get picked on, but I actually act cleverer to outsmart them, and then they look stupid. It works pretty well.

All the advice of violence, or going to extremes is on the basis of completely different cases. Do what most people say, tell an adult that you know will take action and listen.

Don't let them get to you, karma will come and get the bullies.
I know from experience that 90% of advice adults isn't useful, so try just shouting back or refusing to move. They'll get sick of it eventually.
Source: I've been yelled at by the same stupid girl 3 english lessons in a row. She accuses me of 'staring at her' so that means I'm not allowed to look to the right of me, else I'll be 'staring at her'. :L At first I ignored her, but last time I just yelled back. It was reassuring that the teacher sided with me and the people I though liked the bully sided with me too! She is truly pathetic >.< Not to mention that I wouldn't want to stare at her ugly face anyway! XDThis is exactly right. I was bullied every day for a solid year when I was like 9, and came home crying everyday. The only advice I ever got from the teachers was "Just ignore them and walk away". I mean, that NEVER works, and the bully never even got spoken to!
My way of dealing with bullies is getting used to it. I got used to the headaches last year.
Now it's no problemo dealing with bullies.

Not that it helps, but here's my lifestyle: move somewhere else. But find something to work in your favor, like move your chair with you (only works if there are separate chairs and not attached to the table). Then try not to get noticed. Like I said, not helpful. But there's what I do.
