The reason why Final Fantasy is named that way is because the first one was supposed to be Squaresoft's last game before going bankrupt. It was so popular that they made enough money to become a huge company, and the name stuck.

Why do McDonalds coffee cups say "CAUTION: CONTENTS MAY BE HOT". Gee, like we all thought steam means something is cold.

If my memory serves me right, those warnings were out after someone got too lawsuit-happy and sued McDonald's for being given coffee that was hot. (look up "McDonald's Hot Coffee Lawsuit" for more info).

They obviously planned to sue them before they even bought the coffee, who would be stupid enough to not know coffee was hot?!

Final word on this, in the religion God is the one sending them to Hell and the Devil was cast down there by God as well.
And I have heard a lot of these before on Philosiraptors.

Let's not turn this into a religious discussion, please.

The reason she sued was because she got third degree burns and she was 79. The thing is, she sat in the coffee for over 90 seconds before getting out in sweatpants that held the coffee to her skin, and there was already a warning mark, but it was "too small." I think the real thing is, why do they need to include the "may" in there?
(also, I got this stuff from here: http://overlawyered.com/2005/10/urban-legends-and-stella-liebeck-and-the-mcdonalds-coffee-case/).

Because what you think is the funny bone, is actually the Ulnar Nerve, the largest exposed nerve in your body. Right around the Ulnar nerve is the humorous bone, hence "humour".

Ice doesn't steam and because a pool is generally open to public and contains many people in one pool instead of many separate pools for individuals.

How do "Do not walk on the grass" signs get there?
Usually when people put those up, they just don't want OTHER people walking on their lawns. Like if you put up a do not go in sign, well of course you're allowed to go in if you own it.
