What's your personal opinion on shy people?
Do you think of them as snobby or stuck-up? Awkward or weird? Do you think that it's annoying when people are shy and that they should try to put more of an effort in to be social? Or do you think that it's not their fault that they aren't very outgoing? Are you yourself shy?
Also, do you reach out to shy people and try to befriend them? Or do shy people just make you uncomfortable?
I'm just curious as to how shy people get viewed by others.
Jeez, I said shy people about thirty times in that. o:
Note: Because there is some confusion, I shall clarify the purpose of this topic: I'm not trying to categorize anyone. I myself am actually extremely, extremely shy. c: I was just wondering what your experiences are with somebody who is introverted and how you viewed/view that person. I certainly do not believe that quiet people are snobby or stuckup, and was not trying to imply that. I have, however, met people who I later found out thought I was stuckup because I didn't know what to say to them.

I try to be nice to shy people. If they get to know more outgoing people, they can become less shy :') It happened with me ^^;;

I'm kind of like that
More awkward than shy
Well, is there a difference?
Basically, I just can't talk to kids my age. In third grade I could just fine, but it seems like after that I couldn't
I'm like "...So. What class do you have next?"
I can talk normally to my friends from elementary school though. And some others

Oh, I see what you mean now We can't categorize all of a certain kind of people as one thing. I'm sure there are snobby shy people, and I know shy people that are very kind. So I can't say that all shy people are this and that and I'm sure there are shy people that fall into each of those categories.
Also, sorry about the misunderstanding rodentqween9

I'm pretty good friends with a shy girl. They aren't shy if you are friends with them.
She was crying because she got called worthless or something though.

No reason to treat shy people any less than other people, so I treat them just the same

I am not really that shy.
Only when I encounter an important person am I shy.
But in class and in school, I am outgoing, I guess.

Yeah, there's a pretty cool quote about that. "Quiet people notice everything, but they never get noticed."
