And we discuss what?

Sounds like a really inconvenient way of doing school.

Actually, some schools look towards online courses or hybridization between in-class and online courses. With the push towards technology in the classroom, learning through a computer screen while chatting is a bit more commonplace than you think.
I was in a class like that once, although we utilized a screensharing device with SmartBoard technology: some of my classmates began drawing on the screen during the middle of the lesson when the teacher took short step out, and we hurried up to erase the drawings before the teacher came back.

I've been taking hybrid biology and we have an online discussion site like a forum for it, so although it's not a chat, it's the same basic idea.

The only thing is you can't distract the teacher(s) so easily >:D like we do. Religion can become a general discussion, science about the Montauk Monster, geography about aliens, business about business without working lol and English was once about high heels and punk rockers.
Lol xD

Naw lucky XD most teachers in our school are so easy to distract. I was the one who got my English teacher talking about her high heels. Even though I was talking about a faulty car... Oh well, it was funny xD

I'm home schooled, so I can do my math lying on the floor in a blanket. Which is good, because I find math to be stressful. >_< I like pretty much everything except math.
One time, at the Apple store, I ran around inverting the colors on every screen. XD
I was spotted though
And the guy was like, "How did you do that?!" Or something, I forget, it was a while ago.
Obviously it was a while ago, as I wouldn't do something that, heh, ill-behaved now. (Trololololololo)
BTW, you invert the colors with "Control + Option + Command + 8"
