What Happened to Scratch?!

I can't even remember the last "Scratch 2.0 Progress Report" What has happened to Scratch. Is Scratch 2.0 even coming out? Or did they just abandoned the whole project?

Scratch 2.0 is definitely coming out. I believe they're getting close to a working product by now.

Remember that Scratch 1.0 took several years to create. Scratch 2.0 is going to take that much longer.

Ehh it might not be incredibly easy to announce to everyone how 2.0 is coming along. They're building a program. What are they supposed to do, send out monthly messages:

"We just finished something.

Yep, another part done.

We changed the colors of some buttons. Hardcore."

??? I'm not really sure what you're asking for
