Yeah, probably. That'd be easy to do in Flash. Cool, isn't it?

Flash IS vector graphics.
Now, back to Misc. Forums.

IKR!!!
This would mean any game would have the possibility of being resized to any resolution including 1920x1080 FullHD 2560x1440 crazy!

Hahah whoa that would be awesome.
It would be even better if you could resize it in the editor so you could use all of the screen well.

And maybe, this could mean that the game runs faster as well... but there is a problem...
How on earth would we import images from other places?

As in, how would you import non-vector images? Most vector art programs allow you to import raster images as well, so I imagine Scratch 2.0 would be no different.

Hmm... then how would the bitmap image resize as the vectors are resized? Just upscaling/interpolation I guess?

Presumably in the same way that resizing works currently (eg when using the "size" block or switching to presentation mode). Although if we get nicer interpolation, with proper antialiasing (and why not proper alpha transparency, too?) that'd be awesome. You know how pixelly things look when you resize them? Yeah, that.

It is a pretty big deal. It'll increase the quality of graphics by a lot.
