See where it says report? That is one of the most important tools on the Scratch Forums.
Unlike common misconception, it is not only for inappropriate stuff. With me, I hardly use it for inappropriate stuff, as there barely is any.
It is for:
• Inappropriate material
• Spam
• Posts harassing other users
• Flame wars
• Duplicate threads (a thread posted twice)
• Commercial spam (threads/posts filled with advertising/links to websites)
• Overlarge signatures (150 pixels is the preferred limit — report ones of 200+)
• Topics in the wrong forum
• Your threads — so they can be renamed
• Your threads — so they can be closed at request
• Anything you think needs the mods' attention
Reporting is not necessarily bad! Sometimes the mods even discuss a post over reports.
If there is anything else I should include, just post here.
Thanks!
EDIT: The Report Button on the Scratch Wiki!
EDIT2: Also in the All About Scratch forum here.
EDIT3: Yay, now we're ITopiced!

I don't think so, but you can ask a mod how it looks!

Nope, no BBC code in reports.
I think this is one of the more important lessons for new scratchers, we mods are not bothered when you report things! It is one of the most helpful things you can do (obviously don't report tiny matters.
It is not just a way of reporting inappropriate content, but also a way whereby you can get our attention.

It took me 3 weeks to realize that...
Congratulations scimonster, nice post that isn't the Great Text Wall of China.

Great topic! I confess I actually didn't know this. Thank you, scimonster!
You're welcome. I expected that many people did not know, so I made this topic. Short, but to the point.

Something I've noticed twice the last two days is two new users making an off-topic post where a mod has just posted to try and report someone elses signature. Since reporting a users post and letting the moderator know that you're reporting the signature is the faster and better way to do this, you could include it.
Nice guide by the way, it's short, but useful.

Great job, Scimonster! Maybe now the forum will be better, all in the right place. I mean, I barely ever see inappropriate stuff, but every day I see around 5 threads in the wrong forum. And you should also add topics like "WHY AM I A NEW SCRATCHER!", because those should be closed, right?

Thank you!
I think that people deserve to know why they are new, even if they don't read ITopics (like this one).

I have something you could add:
It is for giving mods/the Scratch Team a link to a website you created so it can be approved.
