Two wrongs don't make a right, but two negatives make a positive...

Since Lenny hit me, I'm going to punch him!=Two wrongs

I'm not not happy.=Positive (Since the person is not unhappy, s/he is happy)

My teacher taught me some thing weird...

If a bad person gets something good, its bad.
If a good person gets something bad, its bad.
If a bad person gets something bad, its good.
If a good person gets something good, its good.

Oh, maybe they mean "good" as normal and "bad" as abnormal, like:
If a bad person gets something good, it's abnormal.
If a good person gets something bad, it's abnormal.
If a bad person gets something bad, it's normal.
If a good person gets something good, it's normal.

Also, multiplying or dividing two negatives make a positive.
