2. I don't like Radiohead much, but I find Kid A pretty boring and overly experimental. So, OK Computer.
4. Nevermind, BY FAR. In Utero is too light and poppy to me, exactly what Nirvana as a grunge band wasn't meant to be.
10. Hard one here. I like Ride the Lightning more, but MoP has good songs too.  hmm

In Utero being light and poppy? Have you even listened to it? Nevermind's the more poppy one by far.

TKOL and HTTT are equal to me, but TKOL is much more underrated, so I put it above. And I love all of these.

Re: Album vs. Album

The only artist I have out of those are The Beatles - I guess I'd say Revolver.
It was really influential in rock and roll music in general.
It changed 1960's music.
It started psychedelic rock.
60's, man.  cool

My examples -

Huey Lewis & the News - Sports vs. Fore!
Journey - Departure vs. Escape
Foreigner - 4 vs. Foreigner
Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill vs. Pretzel Logic

Yeah, I'm a classic rocker.  tongue
I'll add more later, maybe.

At the Drive-In: In/Casino/Out or Relationship of Command

Rolling Stones: Sticky Fingers vs. Exile on Main Street

Incubus: S.C.I.E.N.C.E. or Make Yourself

Relationship, Exile, and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. for me.

1. Revolver
3. Blue Album
4. Nevermind
13. Lateralus - Schism just wins on it's own. Brilliant song although I like Aenima
19. Toxicity - Sounds a lot better overall

Agreed, except for 13. Schism is a great song, but Lateralus doesn't have "Stinkfist" or "Ænima".

And also Toxicity is superior but not by much to me. And self-titled is a pretty darn close second. "Sugar", "Suite Pee", "War?", "P.L.U.C.K." are all awesome songs, IMO. For me it goes:

1. Toxicity (10/10)
2. System of a Down (9.5/10)
3. Mezermize (8/10)
4. Steal This Album! (8/10)
5. Hypnotize (7.5/10)

Black Crowes- Amorica vs. Three Snakes And One Charm

Even though those are my too favorite BC albums, Amorica is just a bit better than Three Snakes. Three Snakes dosen't have Wiser Time on it, but Amorica dosen't have Good Friday.

Massive Attack: Blue Lines vs. Mezzanine.

Blue Lines is freaking awesome, but it doesn't come close to the masterpiece that is Mezzanine.

I've never been good at explaining why I like what I do
Kid A was boring;; I feel asleep listening to it. That was the only really particularly clear answer
The rest I sort of just picked because I have more favorites on them

Rubber Soul was a pretty easy choice too because theres hardly anything on there I don't like, and Revolvers got a lot of ehhh

AEnima is a great song except it's not very appropriate for most people on these forums.

My parents weren't very happy to find that and vicarious on my ipod.
I also prefer Steal this album over Mesmerize
