The flash player is great on my new macbook pro, but... the only thing wrong with it is that projects on my windows computer doesn't work? Is it because you like macintoshes better than windows? Anyway, I would recommend it for mac users but not for windows users.
It works fine on my PC, and this is a seven year old Microsoft XP.

The Flash Player is definitely faster in terms of movement on screen. While the Java Player cannot load huge projects, the Flash Player successfully does so. But in the case of my project Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - The Video Game, the Flash Player fails to get past a certain scene (for those of you who have played my project, you will know about the scene with the green eye). It does not seem to load on the Java Player at all and the loading bar freezes when complete. I hope that this post will help you improve the Flash Player.

I've just recently started using Scratch, and the flash player appears to run my game without any lag! Previously it was at least twice as slow as it should have been.

Fullscreen doesn't work on my computer with Internet Explorer for some reason.
Worked perfectly on my School's computer though, and that was in windows XP instead of 7...
I like how more systems like steam web browser support flash, but not Java, so I can still view projects while playing my Steam games.

The app idea has been suggested before but was turned down.
