Think about this.
When your mean to a noob, they feel like no one wants them on the game and they leave. If enough people leave, the game has a shortage of new players. Eventually, old players get tired and leave. Normally when this happens, newbies take over, but since you scared them all away, the game gets a player shortage and dies. Even if it doesn't die, it may enact changes that you might hate. So next time you want to scream at someone who's only crime is that they've haven't played the game for 20+ years like you have, think a little bit first. That's all I ask.

If you mean "newb" as in "newbie" then I'm never rude to them unless they're rude to me. E.g. Wurm online logs when speaking to a rude newbie:
[05:03:41] <Ukefox> Do you knwo of a trader around here?
[05:03:55] <Nervesplitter> look on the map
[05:05:38] <Ukefox> 1. The map isn't accurate 2. There is none listed around here and 3. I asked you if you knew of any around here.
[05:06:11] <Nervesplitter> the map marks each trader
[05:06:39] <Ukefox> There may be more traders than the map lists.
[05:06:57] <Nervesplitter> there isn't
[05:06:59] <Ukefox> Hince why I asked. It is easy to say no if you don't knwo of any near here.
[05:07:24] <Nervesplitter> all traders you can get to are marked on the map
[05:07:59] <Nervesplitter> but seeming they cost 50s and can only be placed 62 tiles away from any other traders not many people use them
[05:09:30] <Nervesplitter> try FM
[05:11:03] <Ukefox> That isn't close. All you had to do was say "All I know are the ones marked on the map."
[05:11:06] <Ukefox> And be done.
[05:11:10] <Ukefox> Easy
[05:11:24] <Nervesplitter> the ones that are marked on the map are the only ones on the server
[05:11:48] <Ukefox> How do you know this? They don't seem to show up on the twitter so far as I've looked back.
[05:12:14] <Nervesplitter> because if someone wants people to use the trader they'd mark it, if not they'd pen it up
[05:12:31] <Nervesplitter> traders aren't common
[05:13:20] <Nervesplitter> they cost half a gold just to buy
[05:13:37] <Nervesplitter> and for what, watching people buy stuff off it
[05:15:12] <Ukefox> Just saying that it stands to reason that one may have been missed by the community members who are doing the map updates. Once again, You have answered my question... albeit in a *****baggy way
[05:15:17] <Ukefox> but eh
[05:15:38] <Nervesplitter> I've been playing for 3 years, I know my way round this game and I know what people do
The main story is that he wanted to buy a settlement form to start up his own town, he asked me if I knew any traders close by to buy it off (Traders are NPCs), I told him that if someone had a public trader they'd mark it on the map (You can buy traders for 50 silver (50e) each, but they get 5s a week which you can drain off of it by selling is random things, so ones that are bought to make money are penned off so nobody else can sell to it). He only played for a week so he didn't understand why people would lock them up, I had been playing the game for 3 years at that time and I knew almost everything about it.

You're means you are, your is possessive, "The next time you want to treat a noob badly in you are fav Online Game" doesn't make sense.

1. Minecraft isn't a role playing game
2. The playerbase isn't all put on to a few servers supplied by Mojang.

Me too. I often take my Level 28 Elf Hunter to the Shire (LOTRO) and help the level 5 Hobbits take out their level 12 Wolves. Skirmishing would be way better.
