Web Page/Browser Block

[Go To Webpage {http://(__________________)>.com}
                                                               .edu
                                                               .net
                                                               .ca
                                                               Custom>
                                                                   (QUESTIONWINDOW)[Custom prefix?(____)]]
This is a great Idea!
Great way to make your own web browsers in Scratch.
Any more suggestions?
Gimme a comment!

On Scratch +1 is a way of saying "I agree!", and +2 means "I agree even more!"

What if someone accidently put it in a forever block? A safer option would be:
[go to webpage (example.com) if clicked]
That would be safer but also someone could use it to link to innapropriate websites.

Re: Web Page/Browser Block

A block to take the user to a specified webpage? It would be good to be able to link to another one of your projects, but unfortunately it would be a spammer's dream, so for that reason I'm not supporting.

Re: Web Page/Browser Block

Sadly this has been turned down by the Scratch Team, what if a project linked you to a bad site?

- It could only link to places in scratch
- A dialog come up dor of like this:

______________________________________
[!]
Scratch is trying to bring you to: (link text)
Do you wish to go?
{yes} {no}

Re: Web Page/Browser Block

Yeah! That would be an excellent idea! I might use it to create Webscape SCRATCH'D.  smile  How about a special WEB SPRITE so you can view a website within that sprite too!

[blocks]

<set{  Idea Awesomeness }to( Over 9000

The scratch team might take it down if it leads to inappropriate sites.

This is where the scratch team would take the project down. Another possibility is that it only allows scratch links.
