Opinion On Signatures

After the holidays, I plan on changing my signature back to it's normal design. However, I have a few mock ups of what they could look like.

Which one is better and why?


[Update:] Looks like I'll start using The first one (shown above) right after Christmas. I can;t wait for St.Patricks day, I'll come up with a cool one.

Sounds like its going to be the first one.

I'll animate it so it goes "Steve" then "Steve the" then "Steve the iPad".

Any other suggestions?

Alright, I'll be that guy who says the second one. Why? I know this sounds weird, but the hand in the top one messes up the color pattern for me. All the other colors are iPad-y colors, and then there's this hand there that goes with a whole different color scheme.

Hmm..I see what you mean.

But without the change of color scheme, it looks almost boring.
The point of the signature is to get attention and for people to see that I'm envolved in the discussion.

IMO the first one flows better, partly because the text comes first and mainly because the iPad is at an angle.
