Yeah, spam is pretty annoying. I've found links on the scratch forums, and I don't like them. I haven't found anything too bad, and I actually have never seen spam. It's just that plain off-topic ads annoy me.

Bump is when a topic hasn't been posted on for some time, the thread is several pages back, obscured from the view of anyone too lazy to go back and find the thread. The only way to make it noticed again is to post on it and bring it back to the front page of the index. But unless you're on the TBGs, what are you gonna post? Since "Bump" stands for Bring Up My Post, it's a fitting, not spammy word to post that will do exactly what it stands for!

Sounds like somebody was being a bit impolite. You might try explaining that your project took a fair amount of effort for you to make and is not spam. Or, you can just delete the comment or ignore it.

No I never have been impolite but the scratcher that says it's a spam has been impolite to lots of people

Well, it was made to PREVENT spam. Because if you have a Scratcher ranking, you can have a signature, and it shows on all of your posts. They could just post a link to one of their products, in which is spamming.
