Should I buy Minecraft?

Yes, you should.
Don't let anyone say no. The official free version (Classic) pales in comparison to the Gamma version. Getting a "free" Gamma version makes you a criminal and cheapskate.
NOTE: Gamma is my name for the Full version. (Alpha - Beta- Gamma)

You don't want to get THE illegal copy. That would make you a PIRATE, then you'd have to keep the police at BAY.

You should wait awhile. Minecraft was kinda ruined for me becuase every time there was a new update you would kinda have to restart to get the full effect of it.
