I've been running my screen on full brightness this morning after watching Top Gear on it last night! It's very hot I usually run it on half brightness and its still quite bright.
How bright do you run your monitor?

Mine's on 50%. Mine also has so many features it's crazy. It has an auto setting, so on each refresh of the screen it checks to see how dark or light it is and adjusts the brightness. It also has a highlight screen feature which lets me brighten any part of the screen I want. Lots of other features like auto configuration which centers anything that has a black boarder.

The highlight screen feature sounds cool
I usually don't like auto-adjust features but I also have an ambient light sensor and that's quite nice actually because it doesn't get in your way.

It is because you can also use it to black out parts of the screen. I don't really like auto adjust as well and DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio (The thing that controls the brightness and contrast automaticly) gets annoying when watching movies or playing games.
