I have a few questions about the monkey in my signature being removed. I decided against emailing the Scratch Team personally because I've noticed other users involved in this. This isn't about those 2 monkeys in my signature that were removed a few months ago. This was a pretty pixelated cartoon drawing of a monkey with something that looks like a gray boomerang (supposed to be a gun, but if that's the reason it was taken out, then we should ban all shooter games from scratch). A user who I will not name posted saying that his signature was removed too. I didn't get any warnings for it, so I am confused about why it was taken out. I realize that the site the monkey was being hosted on is related (by name) to a bunch of people that Scratch doesn't want to associate with but on the site itself, there is nothing that would make the site not 'Scratch Appropriate' as defined by that topic Lightnin made. Before making this topic, I searched the site for any swears, chats or links but I found none. If I did, I wouldn't make this topic. Now the Monkey with the gun wasn't the only thing removed. A bunch of other little characters were taken away too from other peoples' signatures. The site in question is actually a MyAdopts site, which is a popular site used by many (young mostly) people to make a simple adoption center for characters. I realize I am probably not the one who should be bringing up this, but I am one of those who have been personally affected by it. Lastly, please don't associate me with 'them' just because I've signed up onto their adoption site.

Sorry it took a while to send a notification about that, there was talk among the Scratch Team about handling it.
The fact that it's an adoptable site isn't the problem, it's the fact that those adoptables and that specific adoptable site references a group that has repeatedly acted disrespectfully to the Scratch Community. So in the meantime they have been removed from signatures.

Okay thank you.
@anuw: I think the 6+ months (or 3 months now?) thing was a rule only for those sites that didn't meet the 3 conditions of Scratch Approved Sites.
