Re: What do you do when Minecraft runs at 1 FPS? -.-

I've had stuff run at 1 FPS.  I quit (if I can without freezing the whole OS).  After that, I put my computer to sleep and wait a little bit.  Then I avoid the place I was in that made me go to 1 FPS.

Close everything else, set render distance to tiny, clouds off, graphics to fast, performance to More FPS or whatever it is, particles to off, advanced OpenGL to off

Do ctrl+alt+delete and terminate explorer.exe if you know how to activate it again. If you don't just restart the computer.

You can't run minecraft on a toaster bro!

I know I'm eventually going to get banned, but I'm going to ride out on a endless, shining wave of logic.

Run it at minium graphics, close everything else, and maybe install mods to enhance MC's performance, like the Optifine mod ihaveamac posted.

Re: What do you do when Minecraft runs at 1 FPS? -.-

Playing on a multiplayer server tends to put less strain on your CPU as it doesn't have to generate, load and unload new chunks and it doesn't have to calculate mob AI.
