I don't really see the point. Why would I want to constantly update people on what I'm doing? It seems like a waste of time to me...

You don’t have to say what you’re doing. You can share neat things. Quotes, jokes, inspirational stories, videos, and I met someone that I haven’t seen for five years on Facebook, and it made be very happy to be able to have that connection from across the country.

I don't have Facebook and am still able to do things like that.

I don't like facebook, I don't 'like' things and I don't really like you (I don't know you) either so why would I?

Another reason is that I think it's pointless to have friends who you've never even talked to in real life, just so it appears that you're popular.

Don't you do all of this on scratch?

Dunno about you, but I've never seen anyone I knew/know IRL on Scratch, so that last part isn't possible for me. Facebook just makes socializing and sharing content with people you know easier, mostly because pretty much everyone uses it nowadays.

I find this insulting. What kind of person do you think I am? Not everyone on Facebook adds random people to appear popular.

But Facebook makes it easier.
Not to mention that my friends on Scratch aren’t any one I know in real life.

I wasn't saying that you do that, just that most of the people I know do.
Sorry if I offended you...

So you don’t like be because you don’t know me? When I don’t know someone I don’t have an opinion on them. I’m not a judgmental person. And you shouldn’t be. And you don’t just begin to dislike someone because you don’t know them. That’s just wrong.

I don’t want this topic to become a debate on wether or not Facebook is okay. It’s simply about me getting a page on Facebook so that Scratchers can keep up with me on an official, social network.

Facebook is not allowed on scratch, it doesn't have any filters.
BTW, aren't you a bit young to have a Facebook? I thought you had to be 18...

Ah, okay.
Anyways, I just use my *fake* facebook acount to friend random people, send them creepy messages like "Remember that time we went to the beach", then photoshop them in a picture with an old guy next to them.

It is 13, and it's not a user, it's a like-able page. And for all you know, I could be in my forties. Don't judge, although I AM 13. And where exactly does it say you can't link to Facebook on Scratch? I need a reliable source for my information.
