The second one... eh not so much. The proportions are a bit off. Giant bugeyes.

The top one is really good - the contrast is very striking, works well ^^ I really like how you did the angle - faces at angles are one of the things I find hardest personally.

I haven't been drawing much lately - this is my most recent piece (unfinished, though - I think I last worked on it about two weeks ago) for Art club:

I've put about 4 hour-long sessions into it so far. It's a plastic wineglass, plus a shiny satin-ish fabric which I twirled around until I was happy with it. I checked just now, and the size of the card is A2 after all (although this photo isn't the whole piece of paper). I think I'm going to finish painting the foreground, then paint a background on another piece of paper (or maybe leave the other piece of paper a single colour, to make the foreground stand out more), and put the foreground over the background. Not sure yet... it'll probably evolve over time anyway ^^
