How to make my sprites .gif move?! CLICK HERE IF YOU KNOW!

I`m new with the project making, but I know how to put music but I downloaded a picture of mario and when I put that picture on a project IT WON`T MOVE!




Is there like a piece you`re suppose  to make it move.

Not like putting seperate pictures but a .gif picture.  big_smile  Tell me plzzzzzzz!!!

Maybe this should've gone in All About Scratch, but I'll answer you.
Import the gif from costumes
So, when you open Scratch import that gif, then go to Costumes, click on "Import" then open that gif again, and it should work!

I'm pretty sure it has to be seperate costumes.

If you drag a .gif over it will split the frames into costumes, you can then make a forever next costume script to make it play.

You cant put a GIF animaion in scratch, it has to be costumes.
