This post is the post that had the most common sense in it I've seen in a while.
30 minutes. I, myself, missed it, but I viewed it. I loved it. And I'm sorry for TDD. You guys jumping to conclusions could have really hurt her, you know. Think about what you guys would feel like if people said mean things about you.

Just the fact that you'd go so far to say that you'd come back is the part that's ridiculous and BS tactics in my eye. If you just came back without warning after the project got front paged, I think the situation would be a whole lot different but that was not the case. Although this wasn't exactly your fault, people advertised that if you clicked on their sig then TDD would come back. It was a bit of a misinterpretation but that still could have been avoided.

I don't really care if you actually quit or not. I just don't believe using bribery to get a project on the front page, no matter what cause it was for, is just. It's possible, even extremely likely with someone of your level of popularity, that the project would have been frontpaged anyway.

And I did just let it be. Whilst I didn't agree, and felt it unfair, I left it. Just because I made a few comments on the forums about it doesn't mean that I'm declaring an all out war on you (which I've done before and it wasn't all that pretty). I just wanted to give my two cents on the matter, which has now been inflated by all of your supporters to a dime, a quarter, or maybe even five dollars. Five whole dollars from like four sentences. Great.

Look, people misinterpreting is not TDD's fault. 
And nobody forced anybody to view the project.  They clicked it because they wanted to, due to whatever motivation they had.

It's somewhat her fault because she's the one who said the unclear and unneeded statement in the first place. But I really don't care whose fault it is. It happened, and that's that.
