It would be good if the Scratch Team is viewing this. I've seen in some projects there is cursing in songs. Would it be okay if I had 2? One in one song one in the other? Could I put something in the beginning of the project for a warning? Thanks for the FEED BACK. I like saying that.

A warning isn't sufficient because there's nothing to enforce it, and a someone could still ignore it and be exposed to something they shouldn't. So no, if a song has cursing in it, then you should either find a version that's censored or not use the song.
Also, if you see a project with cursing in it, please report it so the Scratch Team can review it. That's not appropriate for the Scratch community. Thanks!

Thanks for the answer.
There has been other songs with cursing, but with warnings in the description. I guess I should remove a few songs. Thanks again!

Yeah, I know it's a pain to try to find a clean version of a song you love, but we gotta draw the line some place. If Scratch gets a reputation for having songs with inappropriate language, than many parents and teachers will decide not to let their kids / students on. So yeah, please flag projects with lyrics that aren't clean / ok for all ages. Usually we take 'em down and send this notification:
"Please be respectful and use music with lyrics appropriate for all ages when sharing projects. See the Community Guidelines for details. Thanks!"
(Resharing a project with the clean version, if there is one, is fine).

What if you edited it with a beep?
I'm guessing that would be OK, as long you couldn't hear the swear at all. I might be wrong though.

I would get Audacity. It's free and you can do just about anything with the swear.
eg. bleep, really loud noise, fade out, wah wah (not the best option) plus a whole lot more. Heck, you could even put a dial tone where it's supposed to be!

Not all songs though.

No, as there's possibly people as young as 5 on Scratch.

Audacity is great for that. You can also remove vocals by silenting a part, and getting an instrumental version to play over it

Even with a warning they wouldn't allow it. Remember scratch is for ALL AGES, so (unless you use a censored or clean version) it won't be allowed. plus anyone could say they are 18 in the warning part so they get the explict song. If you want explict songs go on YouTube. but on scratch don't even try.

You could even just delete the swear word completely!

Yeah, we'd already established that.
And that was a giant necropost.

Yes, deleting the whole word should be sufficient.
