You don't need to bump two times nine minutes apart.
Why not create a discussion point? That would perpetuate the thread.

I don't really have a favorite LGBT character/celebrity.
However, I do think that Nickelodeon should introduce an openly gay/lesbian character. There are too many heterosexual messages, they need a gay/lesbian. Yes I know some parents would flip. Who cares.

Too many networks don't portray (Or portray RIGHT, they confuse "gay" with "transvestite" due to the misguided assumption that all relationships have to have two distinct gender roles) LGBT characters at all. However, most writers nowadays manage to sneak in some subtext once in a while.

I have to agree. Personally, I believe that if they're not going to portray any LGBT's, they shouldn't portray boyfriend/girlfriend stuff, which too many networks do.
And I believe that too many people in real life believe that heterosexual is right and gay/lesbian/bisexual/whatever is wrong. The TV stations seem to broadcast what people want to see, and not what is right.

Read Anne Frank's diary, listen to In the Aeroplane over the Sea, and then tell me I'm wrong. I bloody dare you.
