Macs suck.

Lolololol. Sure why not. If you hate it you can just resell it in the black market.

Mac OSX Lion is great. Especially with the Magic Mouse because you can swipe between spaces.  smile

Yay I'm Apple and I'm going to make people buy a whole lot of extra junk before they can do anything cool with my operating system. Aren't I so cool?

Sure, buy it. Why not waste $30 on a nice Mac?

...that proves no use function whatsoever.

Re: Mac OSX lion

I have it, and I rarely go a day without wishing I could have Snow Leopard back.  Because of Lion, I prefer Windows 7 to Mac OS X.  Don't get it.

I never had a dvd anything.  I bought a Snow Leopard Macbook Air (which doesn't have a CD slot anyway).  The Apple Store people did everything.  Which is annoying, because they got rid of Developer Tools.

I think then you can legally re-download it off a torrent or something.

If you have a Time Machine drive, just restore from backup.

I read the reviews. They were mostly poor.

Yeah, it really is. $30 for an operating system? That's pretty cheap and I love Lion, it works really well!

Re: Mac OSX lion

Stay on Snow Leopard

It shows that Apple only cares about iOS (its heavily influences by iOS, with inverted y-axis)

And it won't let me quit and not save. Hate autosaves.

Snow Leopard FTW!

Snow Leopard FTW!

I would disagree. Lion runs better, faster and looks better.

And you can simply revert to saved if you if you don't want the autosaved version.

I would disagree.  Just Mission Control (the new, unimproved Expose) runs SO SLOWLY, and the new scroll bar is terrible!  Just a black line!  It's even bugged, so that only half of it moves when I scroll!

Doesn't do that on mine

Re: Mac OSX lion

IMO, Snow Leopard is best.
Why waste $30 and make STEAM run 50% slower than it already does?

Windows -> MacOSX Lion = yes
MacOSX Snow Leopard -> MacOSX Lion = no

Well I've got SL on another partition, so I can use either, and I end up using Lion. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Sure the scrollbars are ugly, but what else is there to complain? Mission control is awesome, because spaces have been integrated, and each space can have its own desktop background.

Launchpad is fun (not much use though  tongue )

And Full Screen mode? I don't know how else I'd like to use a 11" Macbook Air  tongue
