I am suffering a serious case of writer's block, because I want to write a good story but I can't think of anything! Lol, just read other books of the genre you are aiming to write in. You will get enough inspiration and ideas from them.
Personally I like Gothic Horror, Romantic(not the love one, the adventure one), Comedy and Thriller books  wink
