I need help
somethnig always goes wrong well not wrong but unusual when i use scratch. i normally double click. then it comes up with a box/file that says 'squeak: please selct an image file.' does anyone know how to make it so scratch opens automatically?

Hi 11yancazosj - Sorry to hear you are having some difficulties. I would try installing Scratch again, using the installer program (not the Files only version) and see if that clears up the problem.
If that doesn't fix it, please tell us more about your setup there...what operating system you are using, what version of Scratch you are running and so on. Thanks.

plus if u wouldnt mind checking out my most recent projects. i want to see if im getting better. For anyone else wants to view some simple projects than jus click on my username and you can go from there. (please comment them)

how do you get an icon on scratch? (on the profile) i tryed but i couldn't figure it out! I made a pink zebra on scratch and want it to be my icon, can I?

please stay on topic
The icon must be an image file. it can also be an animation as a .gif file. if you make a sprite on scratch, you can export it to the files on your computer by right clicking on the costume and selecting export. then you can change picture on your profile and find the picture that you exported.
