I'm thinking about downloading it, but I need to know a few things:
How easy is it to learn for someone who's never used a very complicated editor?
Is it better than paint.NET?
Where can I download it?
Does it cost anything?
Thanks to all replyers

It might be a bit hard for you to adjust to it if you are use to using something much simpler such as Paint.Net, but there are plenty of very helpful video tutorials on YouTube that I am sure will help you catch on if you really want to.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GIMP IS AWESOME!
GET IT! NOOOOOOOOW!!!
And no, it's not too complicated. What I did was I looked up tutorials on Youtube and fiddled around with it. It's so much fun! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me, the Gimp expert (Sort of ).

It is way better than Paint.NET although you have to get used to it.

Ah, yes. I <3 GIMP! It's awesome. It's quite complicated but it's a very powerful program. A good way to learn is to just explore it!
