My Scratch Game is about 42MB. Whenever I try to upload it, it says:
Failed: project might be too big (maximum is 10MB)
Ohmygosh.
It's because I have music in my game I guess. This is actually really annoying because my game only has around 48 sprites and a few costumes for some things. I understand that the larger the file is the more space it takes up on this website and other stuff like how much it takes to upload it but come on.
Are there any other ways to upload a scratch game or something? Because I have to give this in to my ICT teacher soon and I can't get it to him without putting it on scratch. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get it uploaded anyways? Thanks in advanced! (:

There's really no way to get a project on Scratch if the file size is over 10 MB, sorry.
As botoluvr suggest, try compressing the images and sounds in your project to see if it reduces the file size to under 10 MB.
Otherwise, if it's just the music that's eating away at file space, you can try using a music editor to edit the music files and use only the files you need; alternatively, you might just want to remove most (or all) of the music files if they're not integral to the project (better to hand in a quiet project for an assignment than no assignment at all).

You can e-mail it to your teacher. Just say, "My file is too big to upload to the Scratch website, but if you can give me your e-mail, I will send you the file at its full pontential."

Thankyou all for helping me with this problem so quickly. I have to give it in by tomorrow and have just recently uploaded it. I tried the solutions in order of post (:
Botoluvr;; Thankyou for this (: I did this and I got down to 9474KB which is just under 10MB. (of course the graphics and sounds didn't sound or look to good but it was a handable peice of game [to the standard my ict teacher is looking for])
TRocket;; I looked a little on mod share and it seemed like a good idea but since Botoluvr's way worked I decided to just do that. Thanks anyways for a quick reply (:
cheddargirl;; Thankyou (: It's good to have someone who can explain it in detail. I understand that music would eat away at the file space (as you said) and i'm only really using 1 minute out of the 3 or 4 minute peices of music.
cheddargirl and GOD_MOD3;; THankyou both for the help on how to hand it in to my teacher (: I really appreciate all the help.

Try compressing the music and sounds. I uploaded project that was 19MB at it uploaded. You can also use Compressers like audaticy.
