i am talking about sore kernel    [ not the flashy point ] u can read the whole linux souce code make notes and create ur own OS (that powerful)

If you know so much, make one.

  i have done it in past     no point in making one again too boring + i am a busy web developer working on 3 projects at a same time     [among which i bet 1 u already use] .


dont go on my scratch projects i myself has deleted em [due to some personal reason]

You think you can do frontend development for a website which already is among the top used websites in the world ? Oh yes it requires experience developing php , html , css , wap [must have wap understanding for what i am upto], varnish

Secondary Project - Sponsored
Needs a node.js expert who can assist me with the event leaks & ghost events in the v8 engine , also requires a C developer who can re-write  Socket.io natively.

Tertiary Project - Just for fun
Requires a person who has atleast 2 years experienece making media converters or has decent understanding of audio compression and audio api's in various browsers and should be able to write a native plugin for node.js in C

I'm pretty good with php, css, html. And I'm learning a lot about javascript. So I have some skills there, just not as much as the others.

So first: what the cripes is wap and varnish? And what's the website?

Second: Probably not as much since I'm not as good with node. Just now learning. And I have not learned C, sadly. I want to learn after I get time.

Wap = Wireless Access Protocol (somethig lower end cellphones have for the browsers its a pretty decent platform for old cellphones), Varnish is server software , and sorry i cant tell you the website name in public [due to privacy reasons project is yet to be kept a secret] but as soon as its done i will make sure you get the access for beta testing it    .

2nd : Learn Node it worths , for realtime apps its just epic ( i have tried doing it with most of the ways and the throughput node gave was just epic). Talking about client side JavaScript [oh well thats my mother tongue    ]  if you ever need any help with JavaScript just message ask me

*faceearth* MAN *??!?!??!?! are u in ur senses ?? you said the ASM was going to be helpful for ur win nt os [ oh keep in mind windows nt is stricktly patented by microsoft ] so i suggested using LINUX kernel source as a beginning so that u get an idea of what an OS IS

Mac Os x is based on Linux....

Nope.
It's based on NeXTSTEP through the OPENSTEP line which are related but not the same.
