The TBGs (Textbased games) are, to me, what I consider one of the best parts of Scratch. You can play fun games with other users. However, less and less users are joining, and the TBGs are shrinking from a giant community to a very small one. If you join theTBGs, you will have lots of fun playing forum games created by other users!
Pros:
■Ever felt mad that you couldn't go in the Misc. forum because you were a new scratcher? In the TBGs, you can post regardless of rank.
■Ever seen a forum game in one of the main forums closed, so even though it looked like tons of fun, you couldn't play it? In the TBGs, they will never get closed!
■You don't have to know, well, anything about how to program to post.
And most importantly...
■It's the BEST place on Scratch to have fun!!!
Cons:
None that I know of, unless you hate having fun...
Anyway, if you are still reading this, I give you many thanks. I hope that you take the time to take a look.

So? It's the same thing on forums, so why count it as a con?

Yeah, the TBGs are fun. I got a promotion to TBGer with only 33 posts which is like 1/4 of how many it took on the main forum. (I think duckii promoted me since I play minecraft and she trusts me there)

I got it at one post

It's good to have a link to this in the New Scratchers forum because a lot of them wouldn't bother entering Misc.

TBGs are awesome. I'm glad I'm not the only one who still frequents them Also, it's a good idea to let New Scratchers know about the TBGs
