When I joined Scratch, I was already pretty experienced with computers. I started making fake OSes when I was 4.
When I started using the internet communities more extensively, I:
- Never capitalized anything
- Used abbreviations all the time (u, ppl, 2, w8, brb, @, gl, gg, gtg, ty, nty, yw, plz)
- Was rude, annoying and argumentative (more than now anyway)
- Thought powerpoint was used to make OSes
- Never deleted my browsing history/cookies
- Believed scams and chain emails
- Made webpages in word and wondered why they wouldn't open in a browser
- Used internet explorer 6 (that's the biggest noobity )
- Thought I was the best at computers
- Tried to get a Club Penguin membership for free by contacting Disney
- Believed you could change a file type by changing the extension (such as making a movie from a powerpoint by changing PPT to WMV)
- Loved the Windows XP sample pictures and sounds so much I made a movie out of them
I'm glad I don't have so much to learn anymore, but there's still a lot ahead...

XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I thought you could change a file type by the extension too. Then I went and asked my dad who is a programmer "Why doesn't my image/video/sound/game work anymore????? I just wanted to change the filetype!"

-I was pretty confused about everything
-I didn't understand why mods kept closing my topics(they were completely in the wrong places )
-I was pretty rude to some people(some of you probably remember this)
-All I cared about was fame and getting on the front page(Many of you probably remmeber that )
-I would stay up until 2 in the morning making sure my projects would stay on the front page.

-Didn't know there was such thing as a "New Scratcher Status"
-Keeping in mind that I didn't know that, my first post ever was a request to become a curator
-Didn't know how to make a new topic
-Always made typos and didn't proofread
-Thought the Community Moderators were part of the Scratch Team
-Thought Lightnin was just a regular Scratcher
-Thought Cheddar was a regular Scratcher.
I was so stupid back then

The link to the thread was http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic … 58#p954658, it was about not being able to say an appropriate word.

I once tried to upload a PowerPoint to YouTube! I thought it would convert it for me
Most people would probably consider me a noob now...

-I had previously used scratch just to look at projects, so I started off with a little knowledge about the site.
-I knew absolutely nothing about the Scratch program. My first project was the scratch cat standing in grass with the sky behind him. Yes, its cliche, I know.

Despite the normal "post count = non-noobiness" theory I've actualy been on the forums for quite a while and I have drastically changed.
I was a flamer and I fought with veggieman and pw. And someone else.
Was it Ace-of-Hearts?
Oh yes, it was.
In my topic saying that 4kids is evil she stated that it made anime okay for her kids. (or something along those lines)
Yes you read that right.
In a much later topic she stated she was 14.
.-.
Back on topic;
I was a noob when I only had 50 posts.
No grammar,
and I posted a lot like this.
No, only this paragraph.

Well, when I joined Scratch I had already been on another forum for about... 4 or 5 years. Most of my noob-yness had already worn off on them, and I figured out the basics of Scratch before I ever posted on the forums. However, on the other forum was a different story. I was on there first when I was about... hmm... 6. xD
-I thought when people said xD or XD it was some kind of technical computer programming. xD
-My posts were always like this: Like, LOL! You're sooooo nice! LOL No way! That is soooo cool! LOL!
-I was way over sensitive. One time I made a drawing gallery and someone posted on it, "Wow, this art is HIDEOUS. What are you, 3? Go to art school and come back in ten years, you loser." I was sad about it. So I just shoved another drawing in their face. xD But now I would've rolled my eyes and said, "Well, I appreciate your honesty."

I used to post my sig in my post because I didn't know how to have a sig.
I wonder if anyone remembers.
I didn't know I reached 400 posts.
