One of my favorite albums of all time. More people know them for Bleed American, because it has their biggest hits, most notably "The Middle". But this is a superior album, IMO. I love Bleed American, but I don't love every song on it. I do with Clarity. It's a beautiful album. I love all of the songs, but if I had to pick favorites, they would be "Table For Glasses", "Lucky Denver Mint", "Just Watch the Fireworks", and the beautiful, 16-minute long closer "Goodbye Sky Harbor".
By far the best album to ever get widely mislabeled as emo. If you've heard the band or the album, discuss them. Do you like it? Do you not? Are you in "The Middle" (forgive that cheesy pun).

JEW albums ranked.
1. Clarity
2. Bleed American
3. Futures
4. Static Prevails
5. Invented
6. Chase This Light
7. Jimmy Eat World
And no, 7 is not Bleed American. What I mean by Jimmy Eat World is their first album. No, Static Prevails isn't their first album. Jimmy Eat World was an early album from them, released in 1994. It's now forgotten because of the name change of "Bleed American" to "Jimmy Eat World", and also the fact that it's out of print. It's not that good anyway, so don't get go hunting it down unless you're someone who just needs to have everything JEW's ever released.

And I'm going to relisten to Clarity I guess.

Okay so
I still don't really like it all too much, but it's alright.
Still got nothing on Jimmy Eat World though.

Oh.
To me they improved with their later albums. But each to their own. I understand why people would like that one, since it's much more raw then the other ones.

Yeah, it's really raw and I like the songs a lot more. "Wednesday", "House Arrest", "Amphibious", "Patches"... the list of good songs on there goes on and one. While it's by no means perfect, it's my favourite effort by them.
