Guys, why does Minecraft lag so much on my laptop? A lot of people say 20 fps is laggy, but I barely even get 3 fps! THAT is laggy. Does anyone know why it does this?
And don't say 'Put the render distance on tiny' because it's impossible to play Minecraft when the distance is on tiny. D:

Change Graphics to fast, render distance to small, set bobbing to off, set performance to max, and if you don't carry about you're laptop, set power options to a very high performance. Also, close all other programs.

Well, I'd like to suggest some plugins anyways:

MobControl
Changes mobs that can spawn There are plugins that do this already and work great.
ex: /allow giant would make giants allowed to spawn, but
/remove giant would not allow giants to spawn

CodeDoor
Allows people to make codes for doors it works like lockette but after the code is put in,
it is hidden from view. There is a plugin called SecretDoors that does this, and you could lock it with Lockette or LWC.

No need to make these, there is a way to do that.

Get the mod called Optifine. For me, it brings my FPS to 110-120, but your Fps should go up to at least 50.

My brother's friend, Jack, has a server, so I went on it.

The land is 100% flat grass. Jack told me to make MANY different things. A redstone Casino, Enderpearl Golf, Automated Cactus Farm, Automated Pumpkin Farm, etc.

My brother and his other friend, Chase, were building TNT cannons. Jack didn't approve of all the craters.

I built a boating dock first. It was awesome, and my brother's third friend, Michael, made a boat slide connected to it.

When I come on the server again, I see Chase filling in a small crater in my dock. To the right of the dock is a TNT cannon. Hmm.....

I asked him if he did that on purpose. "Yup."

Later, I made a nest of Enderdragon Eggs (We're playing in Creative). I call over Michael to come help me teleport the eggs around the town. Chase eventually comes in. I go to work on an Automated Pumpkin Farm, when I hear him say, over skype, "T, N, T..."

I look at the nest. A big crater in it. Strike Two.

My brother and Chase made ANOTHER TNT cannon away from the city. Chase made a small town with Snow Golems to blow up. I help load the TNT and such. We're just having fun. So I make a wall of snow which I plan to have target holes scattered on it, to see if I can aim the launching TNT through. Chase says "YOU'RE GRIEFING GRIEFING GRIEFING this won't work TNT DOESN'T GO THROUGH BLOCKS STUPID" He never let me finish the holes in the wall or at least tell him what I'm doing.

You know what he does? He tares down the wall. Violently. Strike 3.

I fully load the TNT cannon to get my revenge. I launch a TNT on the village (which it's purpose IS to be blown up). This explosion seems to be considered, 'Terrorism' and 'Griefing'. So I'm kicked. I get back on, kick him. It becomes a kicking war. He fails at a ban command. My mom eventually gets involved in the whole thing and takes away the wireless keyboard and mouse. *sigh*

My brother is helping Chase "ban me" so I turn off the monitor (it isn't even his server!) to the computer. Since it's my dad's computer (my Netbook can't handle Minecraft) he BANS me from his computer. Now I'm on my netbook, Minecraft-less.

Moral: Always ban TNT. Even in Creative.

They use TNT improperly. TNT needs to be allowed. TNT cannons are for blasting sad little NPC villages to rubble. TNT is for EEEEVVVVEEEERRRRYYYYTTTTHHHHIIIINNNNGGG
